Driver door control unit not working and blowing fuse

Featured Replies

Some advice please. The driver door side unit has stopped working completely. No windows (they work using other door controls) or mirrors. The 25a fuse (fuse 5) in the boot compartment has blown and keeps blowing every time it’s replaced (immediately). Any ideas? Where do I start? Thanks

Some extra info.
The door control unit works in another focus. So that’s not the issue. What’s the next thing to check? Thanks Barry

Open up the loom sheath between the door and the A pillar.  Probably find some damaged wires in there.
