p1100 mass air flow sensor circuit intermittent. But no MAF!

Featured Replies

Hi Guys, im going crazy tring to solve an issue with my ford focus 1.6zetec estate. 2007. the car has become sluggish and doesnt have that acceleration in higher gears it once had. I put it on a machine and it came up as - p1100 mass air flow sensor circuit intermittent

But, this model i have doesnt seem to have a MAf sensor. ive checked everywhere, top and bottom, in and around. now ive run out of ideas. It has a MAP sensor on the throttle body. i changed that for a after market one which the engine didnt like at all and it threw a different code.

Any help would be much appriciated.
