MK7 MILEAGE CORRECTION

Featured Replies

Hi,

so my mk7’s instrument cluster (9C110849DB) died and I’ve had to replace it with another used unit with the same part number but replacement part had higher mileage. Anyone got any software or ideas as to how I can reduce mileage to match existing unit.

TIA

Jake

Ford instrument clusters are designed that the mileage can only be adjusted higher, and can't be adjusted back.

There are a few companies that can set the mileage to zero, and then you can use FORScan to set the correct mileage.

That’s exactly the service I’m after. Can you recommend any companies? Or can anyone on here do it? Thanks

Did you or some electrics company look at your original part to see what had died ?

Repairable ? Most things are these days.
