Tow bar socket fuse

Featured Replies

Hi,

The trailer lights don't work when connecting the plug into the socket on my 2018 transit custom, have stopped down the plug socket & all wiring looks OK & terminals all tight.

Have looked in the manual & have noticed a few different locations for towing related fuses, what would be the 1st obvious one to trace back too? Or has anyone else had this issue on their vans & what was the outcome?

Cheers

So,is  it a 13pin socket, 2.2 or 2.0 engine? Guessing 2018 is 2.0.

Check fuses 5, 60 and 72 in the aux fuse box.

Yeah it's the newer 13 pin type socket & not sure on the engine size but it's the ecoblue model. Is the aux fuse box under the steering wheel?

Cheers

Ecoblue is the 2.0 . Aux fuse is the one under and  left of steering wheel.
