Injector Correction Values

Hi All,

Just a quick question regarding injector correction codes. An injector went on my daughter's 2014 Focus. I ordered a replacement for her. I also have a Ford Focus 2014 with the same engine (1.6 TDCI) so as the injector arrived at my home address I thought I would check on my car with Forscan to make sure I know what I am doing when I fit it.

I plugged in Forscan and went to 'Service' procedures and selected 'Read Injector Correction Values'. The result of that scan is shown below:

Now this all looks good and was the same format as the 6 digit code that was on the new injector. I was happy until I looked at my actual injectors under the bonnet.

I am only showing 2 injectors in the picture as I tried to zoom in, but none of the correction values match those in Forscan except 1 (cylinder 3). So my question is do the injector correction values change themselves over time and when you fit a new injector you just put in the 6-digit code for the initial installation. On my car, I had a new injector fitted about 3 years ago and I saw the correction value typed in at that time, but that now shows different to the actual injector that was replaced. That was the cylinder 2 injector that is the one on the bottom of the picture.
