Hi, Me again.

A curious problem, whilst starting to drive the car behaves as I would expect, drives lovely what I would say, om all four. After a while, say 3 to 5 miles, dependant upon whether local or motorway and cruising along it appears to go on to 3cyl's. around the local area i'm getting 50 odd to the gallon. 

 If on the motorway when this happens upon speeding up it falters then all 4 come in. 

No lights or codes and had my local mech take it out and said couldn't find anything wrong?

Has anyone come across this at all?

    Further to this I thought I would check the egr valve today and upon going through things I for one couldn't remove the electrical plugs for the sensor on the fuel filter and on the egr valve itself, both were not for moving. I could move the clips holding them to unlock but could not remove them!
