Some People!

Well my internet is still down so I'm at Elgin library at the moment, but before I came on the computer I thought I'd get a book out. So I was looking at the row of Haynes manuals when a woman and her son (I persume!) who were sitting at a desk in the corner got told nicely by a library assistant that that desk wasn't for public use, instead for people ordering a bus pass! Any normal person would just say sorry and go to one of the tables only 5 feet away, but oh no. She said - "Well there is no sign here! Maybe you should get a sign put up! Because it is very embarrassing getting told to move!" (bearing in mind the only people witnessing this was me so not really that embarrassing!). She did move to the other table after another protest on how there should be a sign up but my God, just shows how people can be so strange! I would think it would be more embarrassing to be sitting somewhere she shouldn't be rather than getting told she was and had to move!

Anyway! Rant over.

Internet should be back up and running in my house on Friday so I'll get back to regular posting then!

Sadly, that's a growing trend. If anything goes wrong, it has to be someone else's fault! Okay, maybe a sign wouldn't kill the library but making a big fuss about it would embarrass me more than just moving.

Mind you, I'm the sort who has a not so good pub lunch then when asked if everything was all right, automatically replies "Oh yes, lovely, thank you"! wink.gif
