Immobiliser reset

as title can i reset the immobiliser on my 2007 using FORscan, getting random starting issues and the only DTC that comes up is drivers door ground issue, or can this screw with the immobiliser ?

Sometimes turn key nothing, turn key dash lights and nothing, turn key spins but wont start cluster is good. Rebuilt and resoldered when i swapped it out.

    I got the cluster from Richard at customod, spoken with him and replacement clusters are rebuilt and soldered before dispatch, which he has confirmed. So allegedly unlikely. 

    My mech says pull the door card and have a root at the lock.
