Focus MK4 2022 1.5 (182) weird noise from rear wheel area

Featured Replies

Hi all,

For the last couple of month I'm suffering from an issue, to me it sounds like a pump issue, but I don't really know.

I took the car to my dealership, and they replaced the canister vapor part under warranty. At first the weird noise went away, but a few weeks later the sound came back, and it's so frustrating!

I'm adding a link to a video that you can hear the noise. Please let me know what you think, I have no idea on how to proceed, Already schedule with the dealership, but I don't know if he also knows how to proceed.

Thanks all!

Squeaky exhaust mounting?

Try spraying some water round any rubber mountings on the exhaust.

If the noise goes away, then spray with some silicone lubricant.

It stops when im pressing the gas padal, do you think it could be a mounting issue? i will raise it to my mechanic, but i suspect its something electric according to this behavior.
