Steering Malfunction warning light

Featured Replies

I've got a 2012 S-max, 45000 miles, which we recently bought from a dealer (1.6 TdCi). Had the steering malfunction light come on a few days ago and then it disappeared. Had the engine malfunction light come on and went to limp mode a couple of days later and the garage had to replace two injectors under warranty.

Got the car back and all fine for a couple of days but now the steering malfunction warning is back on. The dealer initially said the first steering malfunction might have been related to low power from the engine but that doesn't seem the case.

We love the car but now worry it's a dodgy one. Any help or suggestions would be very welcome.

Dealer thinks it is related to the body control module so are replacing that. Fingers crossed!
