Rear fog light goes out when boot is closed

SMAX 2011  - Rear fog light right hand side goes out when boot fully closed, left hand light not coming on at all.

Can open boot turn on rear fog lights, get error message rear fog light bulb faulty, right hand fog light stays on until boot is fully closed, bulbs replaced reversing lights working ok

    Check for loose connections or bad earth

    Is the left side wired up?  Often Fords only have one rear fog, always on the drivers side.

    Is the fog in the bumper on these or in the tailgate cluster?
