Automatic boot struts - S max 1.6 tdci (WA6) 2011

Featured Replies

First post here,
Just been given my dad's old s max and I've started driving it as a daily more than my own car because I love it so much so looking for automatic boot struts seeing as i have a button on the fob to unlock the boot on its own. when I press the button on the fob, i don't need to press it on the boot to open so I assume it'd be pretty straight forward to fit one in.

But I can't seem to find any for it, has anyone tried this? Emerald struts say they don't offer it for the S max so I'm also wondering if there are any cars that have a very similar size boot strut that would fit that they might sell instead? I've googled the part number but only comes up with the s max so at this point I'm assuming the focus, Mondeo, galaxy don't share this part.

Any help with this is appreciated because I'm gunna give up on the idea soon, it's just I find myself going into the boot quite a bit anyway so I feel like this is more of a quality of life mod I'd like.
