StephenFord
In the last few weeks there have been several posts requesting help in locating a radio code. Some, depending how the post is phrased, we can vaguely advise, though others simply get deleted (surely not in the spirit of us offering help to needy Ford owners) I totally understand that years ago the rules were put in place to protect us from thieves simply wanting a quick buck. However, time has marched on, with many 'coded' radios now being 20+ years old. No one is stealing them anymore. You can often pick 6000CDs from eBay for 拢20, hardly a prime theft subject. Should we be more kind to current owners of these cars to overcome the careless initial owners who failed to properly store the original radio code, or missing handbooks, leaving a subsequent owner down the line with a locked radio? 馃 3
