New Owner with a few questions

Hi All,

Just purchased my Smax Titanium Sport 2.0 TDCI last week as I now have the need for 7 seats. I've came from a Focus mk3 RS Edition which I do still own, but it off the road at the minute, so finding a big difference between the two but can't fault the smax so far. I do however have a few questions regarding it.

I've been reading up and see that you are able to upgrade from the Sync 2 to Sync 3 system. As my other car has a Sync 3 system, I already know these a lightyears ahead in regardless to features and just general operating speed. I have a couple of question regarding this is;

My car did not come with a reverse camera as standard, but has the all round parking sensors that displays on the Sync 2 when reversing. If I was to retro fit a reverse camera with the guided lines (official one not aftermarket), what happens to the parking sensors that normally gets displayed on the Sync screen? Does this overlay on the reverse camera and just get in the way, or would it be completely removed?

In the focus, there is a extra button that completely turns off the Sync 3 display without powering down the unit, which is perfect for night time driving. Is this feature included on the Sync 3 through one of the menus or is this completely removed?   

I've also noticed that there is no digital speed display anywhere on the instrument cluster. Again I have seen others add this using FORscan and will be looking at following this guide below. I've seen people mention to read the MFU user guide first, but have failed to find such documentation. Would anyone be able to provide me with a link so I can read through this before jumping into the cars configuration and adjusting settings? As ideally I'd like to be able to make a backup of the current configuration system files just in case anything were to go wrong.
