My battery is dead on my focus 2015 key don't let me open the door can I open the hood of the car from under the car as I don't have 200 for lock smith thanks in advance

Does the fob not have a mechanical/emergency key built in you use to operate the door lock?

The key does open the door but it needs a little force and to be turned in the right direction

If this were me, I'd be checking back on the forum at least every hour to see if anyone had an answer. It's now over 6 hours and the OP does not seem to have checked back so far.

I think Mr Stringer has worked out that yes, you can open the 'hood' of his car from underneath, or, work out that the fob does contain an old fashioned key blade, and now has a fully charged battery. I await now for his question on why his stop/start doesn't work as it should 🤣

We've been OPW'd again

I FEEL SO ASHAMED!!!
