Hi

i have recently purchased this car which appears very well cared for ( FSH and all advisory’s repaired at yearly MOT). It’s covered 65000 miles 

I have started to notice thought that when I accelerate on occasions rather than pulling it over revs (between 3-5 thousand) before regaining the drive?

 

any suggestions on what this could be and how costly 👀😂

    If the RPM shoots up but the road speed stays the same then the clutch is slipping.

    Likely to be over £500 for a clutch change on that car now but best to get a few quotes locally.
