Ford focus 2015 plate 

I recently had the battery replaced in my car 

since then there have a number of times the car has brought up the service engine now light and gone into limp mode, but when stopped and engine has restarted then it’s gone again 

 

Battery replaced on 18th August, code came up same day 

then it appeared again a week later on 24th August 

now it’s appeared twice this week on Monday then again today 

Code reader advised error code of P2599, is the error possibly connected to having a new battery fitted 

worried as we don’t have time to investigate and am away next week 

Any advise
