I would Hope this is not the case, and someone has it out there somewhere 😬

How long ago did you own it?

The last MOT was 2009.  But there was a new logbook issued in 2015 which seems odd.

In that case, it seems unlikely that it would still be around.

I can't explain the new logbook in 2015 though.

Possible change of address by the keeper, or was it at the time when DVLA introduced SORN ?

Why buy a 5 year old Transit van then keep it off-road for 6+ years in the first place though?  It's not like they were rare or an appreciating classic.

I suppose it could have been used to move machinery around a farm, but even that seems unlikely given the age and mileage (and purchase price) at the time.

I do remember needing to provide logbooks to scrap car shells around that time.  Prior to that we could scrap shells without logbooks, which obviously allowed some naughty people to scrap stolen cars.  So my best guess would be that it was scrapped in 2015.  It is a shame the DVLA systems don't show scrapped car status for free like tax & MOT status.
