2020 focus 1.5D weird panting noise

Featured Replies

Hi, I have noticed a weird panting noise coming from the engine when I turn the engine off.

I can't find anything on it and I am wondering if I should be concerned.

Once I turn the engine off I get out of the car then 3 seconds after 3 noticeable pants (like dog breathing out pants) then nothing.

Thanks

It's the throttle body clean & self test.  Totally normal.

Yes, every time you switch the engine off.
