Sync1 to Sync3 upgrade - few problem

Hi everyone.

When my Sync1 system broke (screen issue) i decide to change system to Sync3.

I bought all need suff, harness etc.

I was doing it mainly by this topic, it's solid job, thanks!

For now after tens of hours in last month i have working system with only few problem to solve.

First is non working front fascia.

It have little different pinout than Focus, i know. But are the so much different? So here is my connector witch i have connected: pin 5 and 4 are taken from FCDIM and they are going to pin 4 and 7 of fascia. Is this ok? Or it should be only this 2 pins (4 and 7) and non any others? When i trying put only 4 and 7 thers nothig happen and warning button/lock idicator didn't working. Where could be problem?

The second one is too dark screen - it's getting dim when i start ignition. I found somwhere here topic that i have to change illumination strategy in APIM by Froscan - i will try this. I think this could be connected to fact that there is no option of change brightess of screen. After adjust (left or right) nothing happen and the level bar is getting back to center.

And one more question. Is your screen getting fully off and black afer stop engine?   Mine is a little brigh for far a few minutes (or houres, i didn't check). It's normal? I have no auto headligh, no dusk sensor (it's scvandinavian version) but daylighs are always on (0 position)
