Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCI 2010 Fault

Featured Replies

Had issues with my car, loss of power, turned off and turned back on would work absolutely fine, on diagnostics (small machine owned by family member) it stated EGR so started off with the EGR Valve fully replaced this and cleaned out completely. Then once replaced was still having issues, so took it to a garage that specialised in diesel cars and they done a diagnostic test which came back as fuel injector 1 being faulty, so we have now just replaced all 4 injectors with ones off another Ford fiesta like ours and when putting it back together today we are now having the engine malfunction warning coming on again but the code it is showing me is P0101F issue which is to do with air intake however we have checked over most pipes and wires for any splits of holes but cannot find anything.
Wondering if anyone can shed any light on this for me? Already spent a total of £700 on it and only paid £1500 for it so ideally don’t want to be spending out more than the cars worth to fix it when I wouldn’t be keeping it anyway.
