“Powertrain malfunction forced reduced power”

Featured Replies

Hello, Just looking for some help on a error that came up on my 1.0 Ecoboost MHEV 125bhp st line.

I was going for an overtake one day on a slow moving car and as i put my foot on the accelerator my car jumped and went into limp mode with a spanner symbol appearing stating that i needed to get my car serviced now.

After turning the car off and on it goes away and drives normally until i put my foot down fully and then it happens again.

Took it to an garage and it read error code “P130D” Which is the knock sensor error.

Just chancing my luck to see if anyone has had similar problems or the same problem and to see how it was resolved.

Thank you.
