Puddle lights 2.0 t titanium X Sport 2012

Featured Replies

Hi All , Having Owned my smax 2.0 t titanium x sport 2012 for a few weeks now I.ve only just seen it has puddle lights or as there called in the book approach lights lol, shock there not working  I've changed blubs but no power getting to them, there's no fuse or relay for them either , so question is are they powered by the door modules if so every thing else works fine , any help would be appreciated.

D.

Use FORScan and see what the issue is. If both side are not working then the problem is probably with the BCM.

Of course it may not actually have 'puddle lights' the mirrors may have been changed sometime in the last 12 years and it's possible they aren't connected.

Thanks for the reply  , I have checked puddle lights are standard  on this model  and are wired in so I will look into forscan .I've read somewhere  that disconnecting barely for 30mins will reset system  is thus true? Also worried  about losing radio code although  I have the touch screen  system  which I think is registered to the vin is that correct?
