MK3 LED Dipped Beam Bulb

Featured Replies

I’ve got a mk3 2013 focus zetec s 1.0 with the h7 dipped beam, i’ve currently got the factory halogen but looking to upgrade to led ive tried a few bulbs but all seem to give me the “dipped beam bulb fault” error message, ive also tried the 50w resistors but not comfortable as they reach temps of 170 degree celsius, does anyone currently have a led bulb that works without error message or flickering?

Any led bulb we tried either couldn't fit or the light output was not right. Too much glare or irritating to others.

So only hid xenon 4300w 55w worked properly. Although they required carefully adjustment.

Yes, I'm afraid these headlamps do not adapt to any LED bulb.

I tried loads of different types in mine and not one gave a good beam due to the mirror design

Just put in the best uprated halogens you can find

I finally set on OSRAM Nightbreaker lasers, still poor, but a bit better
