Have just purchased a 2014 Ford Focus Hatchback EcoBoost Titanium Navigator.

Everything works fine except the sat nav…it has no volume.

I’ve tried everything, gone through all the menus and can’t find anything that activates the voice.

Everything I’ve read seems to say to turn the volume up when the voice is at low volume, but I have no voice at all.

Any help, greatly appreciated.

 

is there a mute - that's enabled...

not sure if this relates to a ford - but morons at Merc remember last used setting - so if someone turned it right down you can't wind it up again unless she is speaking - but you don't know she's speaking coz you can hear to turn it up at the right time...

but when you first set a destination she going to be talking at some point - so keep tweaking vol for a few seconds after setting a destination, and or if you know a repeat last message shortcut - do it directly after using that

 

all we need is a grown up at the software station validating stupid engineers ideas - at key on - select users preferences from the default vol settings menu the users wants
