Mk7 engine problem

Featured Replies

Hi looking for help

Was driving down the road when the engine started to smoke so I pulled over stoped the engine and took the key out and the engine was still reving high then eventually stopped there was oil over the engine and a pool on the side of the road

after a we while I tried to start it but was just turning over all the time

I got it towed home checked the oil and it was still way over the maximum marks

I’m assuming there been fuel getting into my oil

so was wondering if anyone can help

thanks nelly

Time for a new engine I suspect 🙁

Probably a stuck injector.  Though the max revs could have caused extra damage.  I'd definitely have a compression test done before spending on injectors.
