Anyone use Shein for shopping?

Featured Replies

On a Google search I saw a watch I quite liked, and went to get more details on Shein. However, there doesn't seem to be a way to simply browse the site without first registering and giving over a host of personal data. What ever link I try, I get a huge popup asking me to sign in/register.

Is this really the only way you can access the site?

I keep well away from websites like that.

Would you be happy giving them your credit card details ? 🤔

The answer is 'NO' which is why I never progressed. However I did 'solve' the issue but forgot to report back here. Basically the 'pop up' was that big, that the 'X' to close it was obscured! I could just make out the small circle that contained the 'X'. So I reduced the zoom on my browser, could see the 'X' and closed it LOL

This is why I couldn't initially see the issue!

Good to see you avoided giving a lot of personal information to the Chinese 🤣.

I have an account with Casio UK who recently emailed me to say they experienced a data breach with my details taken - so the Chinese will have all my info anyway now 🤣

On the whole i've had good experiences of Shein, Aliexpress, TEMU etc. Cheap and cheerful and a great place to browse for stuff you didnt know you needed.
