This is a base 1.6 petrol that I inherited from my father.  Date first registered 21 July 2008.  I'm reasonably sure the battery is faulty but when trying to buy a replacement, some of the sites say 063 & others say 075.  It's currently got a 075 in it but there's also old 063s in the garage that he may have had in at one time or another, although he has owned other Fords.  Which one do I need please, or will either do?

 

I know this sounds like a dumb question - I'm good at those 😂.

Go to Halfords or Tayna and put in the reg, checking the sizes capacity/CCA and post arrangements plus features are correct?

If you've done that, sorry, I don't know what 063 or 075 mean?

I’d expect the 63 vs 75 is the Ah (amp hours) capacity of the battery 🔋 

063,  calcium battery just replaced mine

075 are longer 242 the 068 are 207 in length
