Can I replace usa version headlamps with european ones?

Hi, my car is imported from Usa and here it is mandatory to have working drl. Recently my left headlight drl stopped working all together because of condensation. I tried removing it and drying and still does not work. 

Can I just buy oem european headlamp assembly and connect to my car? Would it work? Connector seems the same but I noticed pins on the headlamp are different.

    seems the euro ones get two other small pins populated....

    likely the wires are also not on your USA car - so whatever they do would not get connected on your vehicle...

     

    Only posting to say whatever you do, be confident the LHD or RHD beam pattern requirement is not muddled up (or the pattern can be switched within the lamp unit like some brands do it )

    UK and Malta drive on the correct side
    The rest like to drive on the wrong side like Americans do
