USB charging port

Hi all

I need to remove the USB charging port and reverse it on coaming alongside the gear lever to allow me to fit a right angled USB cable in the right orientation for my need.

My question is are they difficult to remove and is there enough cable slack to pull them out enough to allow them to be reversed?

    Getting one oline the pictures shown are not very clear and it is pot luck. I suppose I could wander around Currys and the like but another problem is I only need a short one 20-30 cm. Its for charging my iphone when it is in the wireless charging area and I don't want long cables all over the place. Before you ask, I am in my early 80's and my iphone is for emergencies only and I am not paying in the upper hundreds for a wireless charging one with all the, to me, extra gubbins on them.

    Thanks Unofix. One on order, arriving tomorrow. Plus I already have a straight end short cable to complete the job.

    That's pretty neat. It just reminded me I wanted some USB blanks/dust covers so fired off an order before I forget again!😀
