2015 fiesta 140 black edition

Featured Replies

Hi all, so I have a 2015 fiesta that I purchased a couple months ago at about 89k as a cheaper run around (previously had a mk8 st line) me and the girlfriend travelled over to Ireland to see her family but unfortunately the teeth stripped on the belt and the car was kinda stuck at her parents.

Garage prices are horrendous over in Ireland so I did the work myself, got all ford genuine parts along with the timing tool and torque multiplier.

All the valves were sorted and the head was refaced and fitted back onto the block, everything timed back up using the timing kit and new timing belt kit fitted then everything put back together.

It starts up and runs ok for few seconds then starts shaking and dies, put it on forscan and getting P053F code which is cold start fuel pressure bank 1, the low pressure tank pump i can hear buzz when ignition is turned on so that's ok, I've taken the fuel rail off and fuel squirts out when undoing the pipe to the rail so the high pressure fuel pump seems to be working and at least getting fuel into the rail, I can't hear or see any leaks.

So I'm just not sure now and really need some help.

Thanks

Fuel rail pressure starts at 7610kpa and hits a high of 9630 kpa, what should the fuel pressure at the rail be?
