Seems slightly strange to approach a random member. One would have thought, if this is legit, that they would have approached Steve or maybe even one of the mods.... seems a bit fishy to me

Not me, just got through first service check with flying colours. Was kinda expecting problems though.

Well i was contacted by the BBC too and also replied, Fortunately my alloys werent hit by what is clearly a ford fault, but id urge anybody with the issue to speak up and give Them a call.

Might give people in the future a bit more leverage rather then having to replace alloy wheels.
