Looking to replace the pads and possibly the discs on my daughters van any good alternatives to the genuine ford parts?.

    Don't be scared off by Delphi or even Drivetec from GSF

    I fitted them all round on my X2 BMW and have, so far, done 22,000 miles on them with no issues whatsoever

    I always change discs with pads, unless I'm getting rid of the car

    +1 for Drivetec. They are good quality.

    Put your registration into Autodoc.

    Choose say Brembo.  It'll be certainly cheaper and probably much better quality than the ones in a Ford box.

    If you get to over 140 GBP the postage is free.

    Thank you all for the help and guidance I will have a look at all. I'm currently doing around 40,000 miles a year for work in my van a good bit of it dual carrigeway and only got 17,000 out of the ford pads and discs which was a bit disappointing as i don,t drive it hard. Thanks again John

    Just did my front pads and discs last week on a mk 7.5 1.5 tdci got Abtex cost £49 all in & free delivery and arrived quickly, they were cheap but very sharp .
