Hi, 

I have a Ford focus 2016 which needs a gearbox oil change, it has 2 bungs and roughly gave 6 litres of oil when opened, Ford gave me 6 litres to put in, however the filler bung won't take any more than 4 and a half litres of oil. 

Any ideas

    Put the 4 1/2 litres in

    Take the vehicle for a short drive but long enough to get the transmission warm and you must get it to get into top gear at least once

    Make sure you're on level ground

    Check level and top up
