Is the Tomato Animal now an endangered species ???

Featured Replies

It looks like the Tomato Animal is on it's last legs. Hunted down by savage meat lovers. By the miracle of science Heinz have managed to produce a Plant Based Tomato 😀

I think our Flying Haggis have ventured south to the Tomato region and caused some havoc😄.

Seriously though I shudder to think how they have made it creamy given that it is Vegan, the mind boggles.

It's a wonder they didn't promote a 'vine grown' tomato for an emphasis of quality, & price hike - even though all tomatoes are grown on a vine 🤣

There's no Tesco  tomato purée or Tesco cheaper growers harvest tom puree on the shelves. Apparently the toms possibly  come from China grown by the suppressed Uyghur population.  Chinese products getting in everything now even the ones you don't expect.

It's made from fermented soy...  Possibly even more flatulent than a tin of beans...

And the Soya will be Genetically Modified, the non-vegan at Heinz who came up with that will be having a laugh to themselves🤣

After becoming lactose intolerant (side bonus from Crohn's over the years), I found that everything has milk in it when I had to start checking labels. Cream of any ***** soup was then immediately off the menu, including Tomato, so if this monstrosity is vegan/lacto friendly, then I could eat it without the repercussions 💩.

On the same subject of soup, thankfully the Heinz Chicken Noodle soup is milk free so have always got a few tins of that in the cupboard in case of a lazy/emergency meal.

In an extreme emergency and you've run out of tins, use a few chicken stock cubes, and some finely broken up spaghetti!  Delicious...
