2010 Focus Rear Windows

Featured Replies

Good Afternoon All

Simple but annoying problem!  The near-side rear window lowers itself to about half-way down while driving.  Does anyone know a simple solution please, or is it going to be an expensive 'workshop' repair.

Thanks

Electric window?

Quickest fix would be to put some glue or sealant along the top edge.  But then you won't be able to open it again.

Could also wedge it up from underneath with a block of wood, but same issue.

The proper fix is a new motor.

Yes, an electric window, which lowers under power and not through vibration.

Unplug the electric motor. If it still happens then it is a mechanical issue.
