2011 Focus Titanium x Lights not levelling

Featured Replies

I've had an intermittent fault with my headlights where the normal beam level doesn't correct when started and points only about two metres instead of further out.  This has now become permanent.  I thought it may have something to do with moisture and tended to happen after heavy rain.  Now it's permanent (after last weeks 'storm') I really need a fix.  My knowledge and understanding is slim but I am more than capable to fix if someone can help identify and guide me to what bits to check/change etc

Sounds like the rear level sensor mounted between the rear axel and body is not working. The mounting bracket often corrodes away just leaving the adjustment sensor hanging by the cable.

Is there a sensor or each light.  I can only seem to find a sensor that sits in the wheel arch.  I'm guessing it needs to be for xenon specific?

Thanks
