RCM Module

Featured Replies

Hello. Looking for some help with my RCM module. A little bit of backstory. Bought a 2009 ford fiesta 1.25 with an airbag light. The guy told me it was a wiring issue. Shame on me for believing him but fast forward, I just figured out that the RCM is from another car. There were 4 error codes including seat airbags. Replaced them all. Just left with a U2012 (95) error code. Hooked up FORScan and tried reloading asbuilt data but it seems incomplete. Kind of hitting a wall here. Any help would be appreciated

Are you sure that the RCM is the correct one for your car?

Not entirely. I plan to check it today. Maybe the previous owner messed with it

Turns out that the RCM was the wrong part number. Just have one more code to troubleshoot. B10FE(55). Any ideas?

I kind of suspected that may be the case 🤔

Looks like passenger side crash sensor.  Possibly in the door or around the seatbelt mounting.

Yup. Figured it out. Faulty sensor. Replaced it. All good. Thanks for your help
