Rear subframe on a 2007 fiesta 1.2

It looks quite average to me. A couple of new bushes would help and a good scrub over with a wire brush but for a 2007 car I'd not say it was excessively rusty.

What’s the chances of getting the bolts undone to drop the frame down to change them? Was going to try myself but think garage would be better option

I had the rear sub frame on my Focus changed by my local garage. They have access to ramps, welding torches, and above all - talent. Unless you are a intrepid DIYer, leave it to folk that know what they're doing...

If only that was available at all garages... :sad: 

Have a look at where the rear springs attach.... if yours is as bad as in this thread then maybe it's time to consider your options
