Possibly fake high temperature

Featured Replies

Greeting, I have a focus 2001 1600cc. When I go close to 3000rpm I have high temperature reading on dashboard (needle in red region) but no check engine light and I can drive with that for several minutes. If I go idle for some second and then continue to 3000rpm temp drops and it drops in seconds.

The car technician says that the engine doesn't overheat. Until now I have changed temperature sensor, radiator, thermostat and the water pump is quite new. No coolant lose and the coolant look clean.

Any ideas for how to continue?

I read somewhere that maybe fan control module creates that problem.

What is a "Ford Model: Anag" ???

Crossword clue: Anagram

Rearranging the letters of 'The Ford Focus' gives: Oh, duff Escort
