P0202 Cylinder location

Hi,

My 2012 S-Max 2.0 TDCI Duratorq engine is throwing a P0202 DTC.

My question is, how are the cylinders numbered in this engine, a quick google gives conflicting advice. If some kind soul could give me the cylinder numbering from left to right when looking from in front of the engine, it would be most appreciated.

    As this is a Peugeot based engine, the cylinders are usually numbered from the flywheel end.  So left to right is 4321.

    If you unplug either of the central injectors and then run the diag check again, that should confirm which one is which.  Personally I'd go for injector 3 to be sure of causing a 'new' fault for the test.

    If you use the software FORScan it will give you a picture of the cylinder numbers and injectors.

    Example:

    On 5/28/2024 at 12:50 PM, unofix said:
