Accelerating Noise

Featured Replies

Hello.

I have a ford Focus 1.0 eccboost (I know) and it's been fine with 62k on the clock wet belt changed at 53k.

It been fine until this annoying clicking vibrating noise.

I've look from past message and looks to be a common issue. But I can't see if or how it's been fixed.

Issue:

When accelerating in any gear around 1800 - 2800 rpm it make a clicking vibrating sound.

It Doesn't make the noise when stationary only when moving.

Even moving really slowly it makes the noise.

Makes the noise up hill and on any type of road.

I did (though shouldn't) accelerate and then press the clutch in at the same time and the noise DID go away going 40mph 2000rpm

I have checked the heat shield seems fine.

The noise is behind the dashboard centre to drivers side.

Performance of the car seems find and no loss of power.

Any ideas?

Can you record it somehow? Or better someone else record it?
