Castrol Magnatec would match and isn't super expensive...

A5/B5 is recommended, yes, because its designed for direct injection and egr systems, but c3 is designed for diesels and has a higher HTHS rating, so can operate without thinning and thus, provide more protection. So whilst not what's suggested, its not gonna hurt anything.
