Blower stopped working

Featured Replies

I got a Ford Fiesta Ecoboost 2019. The car had not been driven for a week and yesterday when I took it for a drive the blower don't work. No matter what setting I use and if I put AC on/off, no air comes out anywhere. What could be the problem? The weather is real damp just now so it's really dangerous to drive without it working. I checked the manual and there is a fuse (nr 21) behind the glove compartment. Should I check that one? Should I just take it in for repair? I am far from a mechanic so maybe that's the best option?

Always check the fuse first if you think your competent or a friend could help.

Pair of small or long nose plyers to remove and replace fuse if faulty

I defo concur with Danny. Heated screen would be useful. 🤔

Ok but is fuse nr 21 (climate regulation) the right one to check?

The blower may not work if the battery charge is low.  The heated screens and AC won't work either.

Yes I agree, low battery state of charge will disable all none essential equipment until battery condition improves.

What is a Ford model "Skoglund" ? 🤔

I checked the fuse for the blower under the hood but it seems to be fine. I even swapped it with another one with the same size but it made no difference. I even made a long trip to warm up the motor and charge the battery. Nothing happened. Off to repair I guess...
