Evening all,

I’m new here. Just bought a 2005 Mk5 fiesta and picking it up later this week. 

It has the factory stereo fitted with 3 parts to it (see pic) and I want to change it for a screen to enable Apple car play. 
 

Is there a kit for this? Has anyone done it? Any guidance would be great. 

Most people just cut the bars out with a hacksaw to fit a double DIN cage.  The radio isn't actually in 3 sections behind, just looks like it from the front.

It's a Mk6 here in the UK not a Mk5 as it is known in Europe.

As Tom has said the 3 part radio is in fact just one unit.

That’ll be why I’m struggling to find anything about it.

They usually come with a replacement headunit.  Have you chosen one?

There was a guy on here recently potentially looking for one of these, '3 part radios' but I can't find the thread. Anyone else remember him?

If it's the one with the radio code issues, he wasn't based in the UK.
