Focus Mk3 2016 headlight motors

Featured Replies

Hello and happy new year to all.

I had a low beam headlight go out on a trip last week. Obviously that part was an easy fix. What I noticed after fixing, was only the drivers side head light moves (up & down) when adjusting beam height with the 8 position switch/knob near the steering wheel.

My question is, should both drivers and passengers lights move?

The car is old(ish) 2016.

If it is supposed to move, should I be hunting for a fuse and or a dead motor?

Thank.you.

Yes.

Motor failed. Complete headlight assembly needs to be replaced.
