S-Max 2010-2015 rear fog lamp

Featured Replies

HI All,

I've read several threads in this forum, watched youtube, check the manual and even bought the online haynes manual.

What i'm looking for is a simple digram that shows which bulb is which in the rear tail light clusters in each side of the tailgate. Many videos show how to 'replace a bulb' but they don't show which one is which.

I don't have the LED model btw.

Here is the online manual i found in one forum, but on page 69&70 it shows the problem

Specifically i'm looking to find the Rear Fog lamp. I have the bulb P21W (page 74)

Anu help appreciated. Thanks

CatCar has parts diagrams, which might identify the correct bulb, I assume you cannot see a broken filament in a bulb ?

As it's a clear bulb, it'll need to be in a red part of the lens.  Looks like it'll be the inner-most bulb from a quick external look.  There may only be a bulb fitted on the right hand side for a RHD model.

Thanks for the quick replies.

I didn't know about CatCar, unfortunately all the diagrams seem to be differnt the lighting unit i have.

Thanks for the suggestion about it being the inner bulb in the red section, however the issue is this is a H21 bulb and the manual clearly says it should be a P21, which causes me to doubt. The photo chain here below shows the issue.

Am i smoking crack or is the manual wrong ?

I think the manual must be wrong.  It doesn't list the W16W bulb either.

I know this is late but not resolved...What about a) testing the bulbs and changing the one that has failed and/or b) Leave the cluster connected and apply brakes/reverse etc and see which bulb lights?
