Dpf problems

1.6 diesel tzja 95hp 8 valve.

2 emmisions tests failed despite cataclean and 80 miles of motorway driving.

Tried a manual regen in forscan, didnt go above 1500rpm, then told me it couldnt complete because soot was above max.

Pressure stays under 4kpa even at 4.5k rpm

Lambda reference stays at 2 unless i blip the throttle, then it says 1.something before resting again at 2.

I cant find a soot level so if someone can direct me in forscan please or tell me if it wont display one.

Got some spray in cleaner. Can this go down what appears to be the pressure sensor black pipe that attatches to the small sensor block on the air box?

There may not be an Implied Soot Level available in FORScan for that car. When I had the 110 bhp version of that Engine that was the same age there was not either in FORScan or the Ford Official Diagnostic Tool.#

The Static DPF Regeneration for my similar Engine did not rev the car very much either, it was probably around 1500 rpm as well but it did complete on mine.

I don't know why your one was aborted, if the Pressure is under 4 kPa when driven hard on the road and a lot under 1 at Idle then I would not say that the Soot or Ash load was excessive.

Your car may be failing the Smoke Test for other reasons not connected with the DPF.

Im suspecting my o2 sensor is either dirty as a coal mine or broken. Forscan says a flat reading of 2.0 and only falls to 1.x when i blip the throttle. If I hold at any rpm it just sits at 2.0. I dont know if thats forscan or the sensor.

I'm not sure what readings to expect from an O2 Sensor in a Diesel Engine, and have never found any useful information regarding what to expect.

Useful information on anything is hard to come by coz we arent alll a registered business with a subscription to alldata or alike. Without knowing how it reads normally, im just guessing that it isnt.
