Newbie, Android Auto screen frozen/ crashed

Featured Replies

Im a newbie, Fiesta titanium 2015 1.6 econetic tdci,

I had my music playing through the bluetooth ok, the Radio CD everything was working fine,

Until I tried to connect my Android Auto, my phone supports this,

Q do I need a Android Auto adapter to start this up,

I just plugged my phone cable in and started to connect to car,

It seemed to be starting up, Voice was saying Turn Left, Turn right .. blah blah, after some tome,

I ended up pulling out my cable from USB port 🙄 Now I have a blank screen No Connection to BT, No Radio no CD Nothing,  it still shows up for Park alert etc .. but the back screen Hazed out, it does show my phone connected or disconnected to car, but no sound,

I have ordered an Android Auto connector will this help,

Any ideas greatly recieved 🫣

I just plugged my cable in again today, let it run through some Turn Right, Turn left voice promps, 1 of 136 etc but it stopped after 13? of 136 and started playing my Music ??

Im not sure how it started music, but maybe I pulled the cable out too early the first time,
