Had an MOT on my fiesta 1.6 diesel.

Failed twice on emmisions coz Halfords have decided that you pin the throttle and wait for the machine to give a read out while the exhaust is at its dirtiest.

Took it to an independent today. My emmisions were 0.01, and not the 1.20 that halfords claimed, because they blip the throttle to just before red line and wait for the machine to catch the average reading as the revs come back down.

Ive made a formal complaint about their procedure.
